The Friendships We Make

Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter; whoever finds one finds a treasure. Faithful friends are beyond price, no amount can balance their worth. Faithful friends are life-saving medicine.”

-Sirach 6:14-16

Both life and learning are sweeter when shared, so we carefully nurture a spirit of friendship at every turn. Our deep sense of community and camaraderie is a key hallmark of the OLMC experience for students and families alike: We frequently worship, play, study, and dine together. And we’re there for each other through life’s joys and sorrows, sharing happiness and shouldering burdens alike.

 A Faculty of Friends

We live by the maxim that “a school is its faculty.” To that end, we strive to maintain a supportive working environment so that all faculty and staff have the opportunity to reach their full potential and flourish as the educators God has called them to be. Among other measures of unity and purpose, our teachers generously contribute to shared professional development, orientation, and team building exercises. Almost without realizing it, our students soak up and adopt the faculty’s commitment to camaraderie, good cheer, and charity.
