Important Dates to Remember

  • June 12th: 8th Grade Tribute Dinner

  • June 13th: 8th Grade v. Faculty Volleyball Game, 1:30

  • June 14th: Festival of the Arts & Awards Assembly

  • June 14th: Graduation

  • June 17th: Last Day of School (early release - 11:45)

  • June 19th: Parent/Faculty Book Club

Important Information

  • Report cards and IOWA Test results will be sent home via postal mail on June 21st.

  • New Uniform Vendor: OLMC School will have a new uniform vendor for 2019-20. The dedicated school website is under construction. Stay tuned for information about our new vendor who will provide OLMC families a streamlined, convenient, and economical way to purchase the uniform.

  • Please note, our lost and found closet is FULL. Any items not retrieved by June 12th will be donated to a worthy cause.

  • The National Fencing Club in Sparta offers fencing lessons for children of all ages and abilities, from beginner to elite fencers, as well as fencing summer camps and club fencing tournaments. From June to August, the club offers a youth beginners special that includes free use of club fencing equipment. More information and forms are available at our front desk.

  • Our Parent/Faculty book club will be discussing Walker Percy’s The Moviegoer on June 19th at 6:30. Click HERE for more details and to RSVP.

  • OLMC’s own Dr. Carl Bolleia will be performing in a solo recital at Carnegie Hall on June 11th! Many members of the OLMC community are planning to attend. Click HERE for more information and to purchase tickets.

June 14th Schedule of Events

  • Festival of the Arts (9:00 am): A showcase of performances by students, for students. Parents are welcome to attend but not expected.

  • Student Mass (12:00 pm): Graduating 8th graders and their parents will sit in reserved pews (siblings sit with their classes).

  • Student Awards Ceremony (1:30 pm): At the conclusion of the awards ceremony, we will celebrate our graduates with the Clap Out.

  • Adoration & Benediction (5:00 pm): In the church.

  • Graduation Exercises (6:00 pm): In the school Gym. The 7th grade will host a reception for graduates and their families and friends in Gordon Hall immediately following the ceremony, at 6:45.

July 14th is the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Following the 11:15 am Mass, parishioners will process with the statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel through the streets of Boonton, escorted by the local police. There will be a lunch reception immediately following the procession in Gordon Hall. New and returning OLMC families are encouraged to attend.
